Senior Financial Planning Paraplanner / Practice Lead (Hyrbid – Cebu IT Park)

We’re building something new — and we’re looking for a senior Financial Planning Paraplanner who doesn’t just execute, but thinks, builds, and leads.

This is a pioneer role for someone who will help run and shape a new business initiative, working closely with an onshore senior paraplanner/adviser across planning, execution, and implementation.

⏰ Full-time, day shift 7am-4pm Mon-Fri

The Role

This is not a traditional paraplanning role.

You will:

• Take ownership of end-to-end advice production (SOA, ROA, research, modelling)
• Work side-by-side with an onshore senior paraplanner/adviser to design and implement workflows
• Help run the paraplanning function as part of a new business model
• Translate strategy into real, working processes
• Be involved in planning, implementation, and execution, not just document preparation
• Help set standards, structure, templates, and ways of working
• Eventually lead and grow a team, as the business scales

• Prepare all types of high-quality Statements of Advice (SOA) and Records of Advice (ROA)
• Conduct deep research across superannuation, investments, insurance, and retirement strategies
• Collaborate with advisers to clarify and finalise strategy
• Ensure advice is accurate, compliant, and commercially sound
• Improve and build processes, templates, and paraplanning frameworks
• Identify problems early and propose solutions without being asked
• Mentor future paraplanners and act as a technical and operational anchor
• Play a key role in shaping how the business operates day-to-day

• Minimum 3 years of in-depth experience in the financial planning industry (Australian market strongly preferred)
• Proven ability to handle complex advice work independently
• Strong understanding of:
• Superannuation & retirement planning
• Investments & portfolio construction
• Insurance strategy and comparisons
• Highly reliable and self-directed — you don’t wait to be told what to do
• Comfortable working in a pioneer environment with ambiguity
• Able to ideate, collaborate, and execute — not just follow instructions
• Strong ownership mindset: you treat the work like it’s your own business
• Willing and able to work onsite in Cebu IT Park
• Clear potential to step into a leadership / practice lead role

• AdviserLogic, Xplan, Midwinter, or similar advice platforms
• Research tools (e.g. Chant West, Morningstar, product comparison tools)
• Strong documentation, structuring, and process-design skills
