Building & Facilities Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Building and Facilities Mechanical Engineer with experience in the overall supervision and hands-on experience troubleshooting HVAC systems and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing facility.

Your scope of responsibility shall include:

• Plans and designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems; directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems.
• Supervise, operate, and troubleshoot facility and building plumbing, HVAC machine/equipment such as chillers, aircon, refrigeration units -cooler room, cooling vats, UHT, boiler, air compressor, cooling tower and other mechanical equipment.
• Design, install, and maintain mechanical/plumbing systems and fabricated tools for facility operations.
• Reads and interprets blueprint, schematic and technical drawings.
• May evaluate field instruments and recommend design modification to eliminate system malfunctions.
• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and project implementation to ensure machine efficiency and compliance.
• Handle emergency repairs and optimize system reliability and performance.
• Monitor inventory and requisition parts, maintain reports and documentation

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience:

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer with at least 3-5 years' relevant experience in a food manufacturing setup.
• Current and valid PRC Mechanical Engineer license is required at the time of application.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC, pneumatics/electro-pneumatics, factory automation, and preventive maintenance.
• PLC knowledge is a plus
• Advance course in industrial facilities design and planning is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

• Compressed work schedule (Monday to Friday, 9.6 hours/day), with overtime compensated in accordance with labor regulations.
• May be required to work on holidays and weekends depending on operational needs.
• Work on-site set-up in Jenny's Ave., Pasig City
