About the Role
The Privacy Technology Analyst bridges the gap between legal, compliance, and engineering — ensuring that privacy is not an afterthought but a foundational element of how technology is built and operated. - Lead and support Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) across the organization, translating findings into actionable, forward-looking recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement of internal privacy operations — streamlining workflows, automating manual processes, and reducing compliance risk through operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain documentation including privacy policies, standard operating procedures, data flow inventories, and due diligence records — ensuring alignment between documented and actual practices.
- Serve as a technical subject matter resource during audits, vendor assessments, and cross-functional privacy reviews.
- 4+ years of experience in Information Technology, software development, cybersecurity, or a closely related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — able to break down complex technical and regulatory challenges into structured, practical solutions.
- Ability to read and interpret software code (e.g., Python, Java, SQL, or similar); hands-on development experience is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical privacy concepts for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
- Prior experience as a software developer, security engineer, or systems architect.
