Pre-Delivery Inspector

1. Conduct comprehensive pre-delivery inspections of cars to verify compliance with quality specifications and standards
2. Perform detailed visual and functional testing of items before shipment to identify defects, damage or non-conformities
3. Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of all inspections carried out
4. Identify and report quality issues to the appropriate departments and escalate critical problems to management
5. Collaborate with production and logistics teams to resolve quality discrepancies and prevent future issues
6. Ensure all packaging and labelling is correct and meets regulatory and customer requirements
7. Verify that all documentation is complete and matches the goods being shipped
8. Conduct routine equipment calibration and maintenance checks to ensure inspection tools remain accurate
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes and quality control procedures
10. Maintain a safe and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification
2. Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control or pre-delivery inspection roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics
3. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies
4. Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills
5. Proficiency in reading technical drawings, specifications and quality standards
6. Ability to use inspection equipment and tools accurately
7. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
8. Physical capability to perform tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting and inspecting products of varying sizes
9. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (an advantage)
10. Computer literacy and familiarity with quality management systems (preferred)
