Job Title: HR Assistant – Transport Support

Location: Taguig City, Metro Manila

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and organized HR Assistant to support the Transport Department in all HR-related functions, including recruitment, timekeeping, employee records management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between HR and Transport operations, helping ensure smooth coordination and workforce management for drivers, dispatchers, and logistics staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process for transport staff (e.g., drivers, dispatchers, helpers), including job posting, screening, scheduling, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date 201 files and HR records specific to transport personnel.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, and overtime of transport staff; coordinate with timekeeping/payroll.
  • Ensure that all transport personnel have valid licenses, certifications, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate health and safety compliance, drug testing schedules, and medical clearances.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as contract preparation, ID issuance, and employee movements (transfers, resignations, terminations).
  • Support performance evaluation and disciplinary processes in collaboration with Transport Supervisors and HR.
  • Serve as a point of contact for transport employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and company procedures.
  • Assist with employee engagement, training coordination, and morale-boosting activities for the transport team.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to headcount, HR metrics, and compliance for the transport department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to operations, logistics, or transport environments.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and HR practices in the Philippines.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication, coordination, and administrative skills.
  • Can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in HR support for logistics, transport, or warehousing companies.
  • Working knowledge of biometric or timekeeping systems.
  • Familiarity with driver documentation (LTO licenses, medical certificates, traffic violation processes).
