Job Description

• Performs valve exercise on all sector and sub-sector valves annually to avoid malfunction of valves.
• Conducts cleaning or flushing of pipelines weekly or semi-monthly to prevent water quality problem.
• Conducts visual leak detection on the surrounding of water mains and immediately repairs the detected leak in all sectors area to reduce non-revenue water.
• Performs sewer lines and manholes cleaning/de-clogging on schedule zone to prevent clogging and complaints.
• Conducts semi-annual inspection on customer with canteen/ restaurant to avoid accumulation of grease on sewer lines and manholes.
• Conducts visual leak detection on the surrounding of wastewater mains and manholes and immediately repairs the detected leak in all zones. area to avoid infiltration and clogging.
• Performs day to day activities issued from WUMS within the set time to achieve customer satisfaction.

• At least High School Graduate or with Vocational Course
• 2 years of work experience in operating and maintaining water and used water networks
• With plumbing skills
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools and motorized equipment
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor
• Able to operate vehicles (motorcycle/4-Wheel Drive)
