As we expand our sales team, we are looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join us in providing exceptional customer experiences through a consultative approach.This role is crucial as our first external sales hire, making it an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our sales operations.
Role Overview
As a Sales Representative at Haven of Heat, you will be responsible for engaging with prospective customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them toward the best wellness solutions. This is a high-ticket, low-volume sales role, requiring deep product knowledge, strong communication skills, and a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate potential customers on sauna products and their benefits, ensuring a seamless and informative buying experience.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to build relationships and provide tailored solutions.
- Communicate effectively via live chat (Chatra), phone calls/texting (Open Phone), and email (Gmail).
- Maintain detailed records of interactions and follow-ups using simple tracking systems (Google Sheets; potential for CRM in the future).
- Work closely with the team to optimize the sales process and contribute to the long-term success of the business.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a driven and customer-centric sales professional who possesses:
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with sauna products or general wellness/home improvement solutions.
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in high-ticket B2C sales, with a strong consultative selling approach.
- Technical Understanding: Basic electrical knowledge to confidently discuss product functionality.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English proficiency; ability to build rapport and educate customers effectively.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential weekend shifts.
- Long-Term Commitment: Due to the learning curve, we prefer candidates looking for a stable and lasting career opportunity.
Tools & Technical Requirements
Candidates must be comfortable working with the following tools and platforms:
- Communication Tools: Tatra (live chat), Open Phone (calls & texting), Gmail (email correspondence)
- Productivity & Tracking: Google Sheets (performance tracking, lead management)
- E-commerce Platform: Shopify (experience is a strong plus, as part of the role involves creating draft orders and processing payments over the phone)
- Basic Technical Requirements:
- Stable internet connection with a minimum speed requirement.
- A reliable computer with updated software for seamless communication and workflow.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues related to communication tools and customer interactions.
- General understanding of CRM functionality (experience with a CRM is a plus, but not required).
- Hourly Rate: $12 to $15/hour base pay + commission.
