Mobile Engineer

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, UI/UX Design, and Backend Engineering to deliver seamless and secure user experiences
• Implement clean architecture patterns such as MVVM, leveraging Jetpack components (e.g., ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room)
• Build responsive and modern UIs using XML layouts and/or Jetpack Compose (preferred)
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient network communication and data handling
• Write unit and UI tests using JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito/MockK to ensure high test coverage and app reliability
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins) to automate build, test, and deployment processe
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to drive continuous improvement and team growth.
• Stay up to date with the latest Android trends, tools, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption within the team

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in mobile development, specifically Kotlin/Android
• Proficiency in programming languages such Kotlin and Java
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and different versions of Android as well as Jetpack Libraries
• Strong knowledge of mobile app development and experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
• Familiarity or working knowledge with MVVM architecture and other design patterns (ex. MVP, MVI)
• Familiarity or experience with networking tools such as Moshi, GraphQL, JSON/GSON, or Retrofit
• An innovative mind and the ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently
• Familiarity with Scrum, Jira, Trello, and Agile Methodologies

Bonus if possessing the following skills:

• Knowledge with automated testing tools such as Gradle, Firebase, or Google Play Console
• Knowledge with CI/CD tools such as Gradle, Github, or Jenkins
