Is currently looking for:

WELDER

Responsibilities:

1. Reading and understanding blueprints before starting a project
2. Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
3. Measuring and marking out, cutting, and bending lines of materials to specifications
4. Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
5. Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
6. Constructing base templates if necessary.
7. Double-checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work.
8. Fabricating and constructing metal components.
9. Grinding and finishing completed products.
10. Performing quality checks on completed products.
11. Conforming with state and company safety regulations.
12. Completing job reports.

Requirements:

1. At least a High school diploma, ALS, or vocational training
2. Valid certificates (e.g., NC II in SMAW/GMAW/GTAW).
3. Generally 1–2 years, though some roles accept entry-level apprentices,
4. Strength and ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, or in high temperatures.
5. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
6. Strict adherence to PPE guidelines and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
7. Time management skills to complete tasks within deadlines
8. Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients
9. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
