Cashier

Job Title: Restaurant Cashier

We are seeking a fast, accurate, and customer-focused Restaurant Cashier to manage high-volume transactions and ensure smooth front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate must be able to work efficiently during peak hours, handle pressure well, and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
• Process cash, credit, and digital payments quickly and correctly
• Issue receipts and ensure proper change is given
• Coordinate orders with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Handle multiple customers during peak hours while maintaining accuracy
• Address customer concerns politely and escalate when needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier and ordering area
• Monitor and report shortages, discrepancies, or system issues
• Assist in basic tasks such as packing orders and maintaining stock levels

Qualifications:

• At least high school graduate
• Experience in restaurant or fast-food service is an advantage
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Quick, accurate, and attentive to detail
• Honest and reliable in handling cash
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
