Spanish Language Teacher
Lakbyte is looking for a Spanish Language Teacher to help us build our Spanish language learning program.
This role will begin as an internal curriculum collaboration with the Lakbyte team. You will help structure our Spanish learning pathway, including A1, A2, and DELE preparation, with a focus on practical Spanish for people who are planning to move to Spain or are already living there.
Once the curriculum kit is set up, the role will then include teaching Spanish lessons to students using the materials and structure developed with the team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both curriculum planning and teaching, and who can explain Spanish clearly to adult beginners.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Lakbyte team to structure the Spanish language program
- Help build curriculum kits for A1, A2, and DELE preparation
- Plan lesson flow, learning objectives, topics, exercises, and assessments
- Create beginner-friendly materials for speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Develop practical Spanish lessons for daily life in Spain
- Prepare worksheets, homework, vocabulary lists, and practice activities
- Teach Spanish lessons once the curriculum kit is ready
- Give feedback on how to improve lessons based on student needs
- Strong Spanish language skills
- Experience teaching Spanish to beginners and/or adult learners
- Experience creating lesson plans, worksheets, or curriculum materials
- Familiarity with CEFR levels
- Ability to explain grammar in a clear and practical way
- Good English communication skills
- Organized, patient, and collaborative
- Comfortable working with a team to build learning materials
- Experience with DELE exam preparation
- Experience teaching Filipino or English-speaking students
- Knowledge of Spanish used in Spain
- Experience creating online course materials or video lesson content
- Experience teaching Spanish for relocation, travel, or daily life
Interview Process
The interview process will include an initial interview with the Lakbyte team. The next step may include a discussion on how the candidate would structure an A1 or A2 Spanish lesson and contribute to the curriculum kit.
