About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounting Supervisor to join our team at CASA Bocobo Hotel, Inc.' in Ermita, Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial accounting and reporting operations of our hotel.As Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial records, as well as providing valuable insights to support the strategic decision-making of the business.
What you'll be doing- Oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis to support business planning
- Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and training to ensure high levels of performance
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial reporting and drive operational efficiencies
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the accounting function
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the accounting function, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and internal controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suit
