Java & Hibernate Developer - Hybrid 1-2x RTO per week

About the Role

Acting as a core engine developer, you will ensure seamless persistence mechanics, scalable relational data access pipelines, and clean service architectures.

Note: This position explicitly requires production-level experience with Hibernate ORM. General Java developers without practical data-mapping and database optimization exposure will not satisfy the primary technical validation bar for this recruitment initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy resilient Java backend microservices using Spring Boot, prioritizing high system availability, vertical scaling, and clear software isolation guidelines.
• Design and map high-performance, complex domain entities using Hibernate ORM, safeguarding transaction boundaries and object lifecycle management.
• Translate raw technical requirements into clean, structured, and decoupled Java modules that fully comply with organizational performance standards.

• Author, manage, and continuously audit native and relational database structures, schema models, and complex relational mappings.
• Diagnose and optimize database access bottlenecks, aggressively addressing common Hibernate performance traps including N+1 query problems, improper lazy loading configurations, and cache misalignments.
• Develop precision indexing tactics, optimized table execution flows, and advanced storage patterns to achieve sub-second data retrieval times across massive corporate datasets.

• Conduct structured, highly technical code reviews, providing team members with precise guidance regarding transaction control, entity relationship safety, and clean design patterns.
• Isolate and resolve deep runtime tracking regressions, thread-deadlocks, or mapping synchronization errors across multi-tiered runtime setups.
• Author explicit code mappings, system specifications, and clear dependency trees for documentation and rapid onboarding.

• Backend Foundations: Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Enterprise Architecture Patterns
• Framework Mastery: Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate ORM (Mandatory Focus)
• Data Infrastructure: SQL Query Optimization, Relational Database Design (RDBMS), Indexing and Cache Strategies
• API & Integrations: RESTful Web Services, JSON Processing, Composed API Integration Layering
• Delivery Ecosystem: Git Source Control, CI/CD Pipeline Automation, Agile/Scrum Methodologies

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of enterprise-level software engineering experience heavily focused on Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate ORM.
• ORM Specialization: Hands-on competency manipulating entity mappings, session synchronization states, dirty checking rules, and cascading transaction mechanics inside Hibernate.
• SQL Fluency: Advanced database experience with explicit knowledge of query layout strategies, joins execution, profiling plans, and relational indexing patterns.
• Methodology and Delivery: Native comfort operating inside standard Agile/Scrum teams using versioning infrastructure (Git) and standard pipeline architectures.
