Sustainable Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Sustainable Operations Manager to lead the development and execution of our company-wide environmental roadmap. This role is designed for a leader who can bridge the gap between ambitious global commitments and localized operational realities.

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional who excels at navigating complex regulatory landscapes and driving cross-functional alignment. We require a leader characterized by strong focus on objective-based outcomes, capable of managing diverse stakeholder interests.

• Translate global sustainability commitments into actionable, site-specific strategies, particularly in Climate & Energy, Circular Economy (Waste Reuse), and Nature.
• Ensure sustainability targets are not standalone goals but are seamlessly embedded into the annual business planning and operational cycles.
• Serve as a primary representative in industry-based groups; participate in public policy discussions to ensure the company's interests are effectively communicated and considered.
• Monitor evolving sustainability legislation, providing the training and support necessary to maintain 100% legal compliance across all operating sites.
• Lead sustainability-focused CAPEX projects and manage the end-to-end process for Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certifications.

• Education: Graduate of a four-year Engineering or Science degree (Mining, Geology, Chemical, or Environmental preferred).
• License: Must be a Licensed Engineer with a valid Pollution Control Officer (PCO) certification.
• Experience: 10+ years in environmental management (EMS, EIS/EIA, Industrial Pollution).
• At least 5 years in a managerial leadership role.
• Minimum 5 years of proven success in securing environmental and social licenses/permits.

• Stakeholder Diplomacy: Expert-level ability to manage and influence a wide range of stakeholders—from regulatory bodies to internal operational teams—through evidence-based advocacy.
