Store Planning Assistant (Open for Fresh Graduates)

Job Purpose:

The Store Planning Assistant supports the development and execution of retail store layouts, fixture plans, and construction documentation for new store openings, renovations, and relocations. This role ensures that design outputs align with operational requirements, brand standards, and project timelines, in close coordination with internal teams and external partners.

• Prepare complete, clear, and accurate AutoCAD working drawings for new store projects, including layout plans, fixture plans, and elevations.
• Assist in 3D rendering presentations (using SketchUp, Lumion, or similar software).
• Support the coordination of cross-functional inputs from departments like Operations, Merchandising, and Visual Display for proper space allocation and store design implementation.
• Assist in the ordering and delivery tracking of store fixtures, equipment, and OSM (Owner Supplied Materials), coordinating with vendors and contractors.
• Maintain organized records of project documents, layout versions, and fixture inventories. Prepare weekly construction monitoring reports and update progress trackers.
• Conduct on-site ocular visits to verify measurements, inspect progress, and ensure compliance with approved plans.
• Help ensure store layouts and plans comply with internal brand standards and local building codes.
• Perform other related functions as may be assigned from time to time.

Key Qualifications (Background, Experience, etc.):

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D visualization software (SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with architectural design standards in supermarkets, department stores, or specialty retail.
• Strong attention to detail and design accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willing to travel or be assigned on-site as needed.
