About the Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Level Android Developer to join our dynamic team at Kaisa Consulting Company, Inc. in Metro Manila. As a key member of our mobile development division, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge Android applications that drive our clients' success.
What You'll Be Doing- Build, design, develop, and deploy high-performing Android applications
- Use GitHub, where developers can easily collaborate, download new software versions, make changes, and upload the latest version.
- Implement new features and functionalities based on user requirements and business objectives
- Optimize and refine existing Android applications to improve performance, user experience, and overall quality
- Analyze and understand how databases (MySQL, MongoDB) work.
- Implement external data sources and APIs (application programming interfaces).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development technologies, tools, and trends
- Developing GIS (Geographic Information System) or Location Based Mapping or Navigation applications is highly preferred.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, from ideation to deployment.
- Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Android application development, Android OS platforms and Android User Interface
- Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, Kotlin, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, jQuery, Swift
- Experienced in System analysis for developing mobile applications
- Development in SharePoint is an advantage
- Must have experience & knowledge in IoT development and processes.
- Must have experience & knowledge in the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) integration processes.
- Experienced in Android testing and Cross-platform application development.
- Experienced in implementing and developing GIS (Geographic Information System) or Location Based Mapping or Navigation applications highly preferred.
- Experienced in Structured Query Language (SQL) to access and modify app databases.
- Experience in API integration, and Android security.
- Familiarity with using Git as a Version control system.
