Cook (near SM Marikina/ LRT Santolan) - Quezon City

This role will be part of our pioneering team.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Timely cook, prepare, and or supervise food preparation and orders to ensure that these are accordance with the recipe and sanitation and safety standards;
• Check food plating and temperature;
• Establish portion sizes;
• Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed;
• Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating technique;
• Ensure cleanliness in the kitchen and food preparation area; and
• Performance additional responsibilities as assigned by the Restaurant Supervisor or General Manager.

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook. Experience in the catering business or restaurant specializing in Filipino dishes is an advantage
• Excellent food preparation and cooking skills;
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures;
• Familiar with industry’s best practices;
• Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team;
• Strong organization and active listening skills;
• Agility and exceptional time management skills;
• Demonstrates great organizational skills as he/she will be responsible in keeping the space tidy and ensuring the kitchen is fully stocked and ready before the shift begins.
