Role Overview
The Associate Finance Business Partner – COGS’s (Cost of Goods Sold) primary responsibility is to provide strategic management decision support to ensure changes in gross margins due. The objective is to provide understanding on cost behaviors to make production inputs, work harder and more efficiently across the end-to-end Supply Chain operations, to deliver quality products on time with competitive costs, while ensuring compliance to the rules and policies of the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
Forecasting:
- Forecast COGS annually for the Business Plan (BP) and monthly for the Rolling Estimate (RE) Forecast.
- Forecast based on the latest commodity prices from Procurement finance, considering volume/mix.
Analysis Scope:
- Analyze the Company’s Commodity costs, Logistics costs, and Manufacturing variances.
- Focus on Volume, Price, and Mix variance of actual COGS in relation to BP/RE.
- Explain and present variances to Finance Team Leaders monthly
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Support Supply Chain Finance Partner - Budget and Information team in analyzing Supply Chain Costs.
- Identify opportunities and process improvements within the team.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant License (CPA) is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in Cost Accounting is preferred
- Exposure to an FMCG Industry is a plus
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail is an advantage
