About the role
We are seeking a professional and reliable Company Driver to join our team in Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of personnel, materials and products. As a Company Driver, you will be responsible for maintaining vehicle safety standards, adhering to traffic regulations and representing LEC Steel Manufacturing Corp.with professionalism and integrity during all journeys. Your reliability and driving expertise will be critical to supporting our day-to-day business operations.
Key responsibilities- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport personnel, materials and products to designated locations in a timely and professional manner
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, including fluid levels, tyre conditions and lights, and report any mechanical issues immediately
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, routes and delivery times
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document any damage or concerns
- Communicate effectively with management regarding delays, traffic conditions or any incidents
- Follow company policies and procedures related to vehicle usage and safety protocols
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials when required
- Maintain professional conduct and represent the company positively to clients and the public
- Valid Professional Driver's License (PDL) for the appropriate vehicle class with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2–3 years of professional driving experience in a commercial or corporate environment
- Excellent knowledge of Metro Manila roads, traffic patterns and local routes
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery schedules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safety and adherence to traffic regulations
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks such as loading and unloading
- Reliability, punctuality and professional demeanour
- Familiarity with vehicle logistics software or GPS navigation systems (preferred)
- NBI Clearance and other relevant certifications (required)
