JOB SUMMARY
HR Data Analyst acts as the bridge between raw HR data and strategic decision-making. Their primary profile involves collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and reporting on workforce data to improve talent management, recruitment, retention, and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Data Management & Validation: Perform and oversee validation of employee data in HCM system. Resolve data discrepancies and conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Report & Dashboard: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports (using tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.) for leadership, covering key metrics like turnover, hiring rates, and employee engagement among others.
- Quality Control & Governance: Implement and monitor data quality checks and validation processes. Flag and escalate systemic data issues (incorrect employee numbers, duplicate entries) and drive compliance using internal data standards and audit requirements of various functional users.
- Trend Analysis & Insight Generation: Identify patterns in workforce data (e.g. analyze why employees leave, evaluate performance trends) to provide actionable recommendations for retention and talent strategy.
- Process Improvement: Streamline HR processes through automation, improve data controls, and contribute to HR system implementations. Improve existing data workflows, trackers, and reporting templates. Introduce basic automation (e.g. Excel-based tools, report standardization coming from HCM).
- Stakeholder Support: Respond to data inquiries and reporting needs of HRBPs. Provide clear, data-backed explanations for discrepancies or trends. Support operational decision-making through reliable data outputs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields
- 3-5 years of experience in using HCM tools, data or data analytics job
- Strong hands-on experience using HCM systems such as Workday, SAP Success Factor, Darwinbox or Sunfish
- Proven experience in handling data mining, validation, analysis and reporting; Able to convert data to actionable reports
