Junior Application Support (Java, JSP, Linux) - Manila

About the role

As a key member of our IT support function, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our systems and delivering exceptional service to our internal stakeholders.

• Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for Java/JSP-based applications running on Linux servers
• Monitor application performance, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Assist with the deployment of application updates and patches
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and improve application support processes
• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed
• Continuously learn and expand your technical skills to stay ahead of the curve

• 1-2 years of experience in application support or a similar technical role
• Strong proficiency in Java, JSP, and Linux server environments
• Familiarity with web application architecture and troubleshooting techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• A passion for technology and a desire to continuously learn and grow
