Accounting Associate

About the role

Xyfer Inc. is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position responsible for providing essential accounting support to our growing business.

As an Accounting Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our accounting department.

• Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Perform data entry and maintain a well-organised filing system for accounting documents
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date
• Comply with all applicable accounting regulations and internal policies

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Atleast 1 year of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers with a high degree of accuracy
• Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial management tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics
