Trade Marketing Specialist

Overall Objective:

Develop and Execute Trade Marketing Initiatives to drive brand awareness in the retail store level

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to effectively execute trade marketing strategies in the store
• Plan, implement and evaluate trade marketing activities to improve in-store presence and visibility

• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and provide insights and recommendations for improvement

• Initiate and negotiate for the most cost-efficient trade marketing projects from suppliers
• Closely coordinate necessary information to suppliers, retailers and internal stakeholders such as sales, finance, marketing and product management

• Manage (channel specific) trade marketing budget to ensure that resources are maximized and well allocated
• Monitor, control and optimize budget utilization and propose necessary adjustments and/or re-allocation

• Reinforce processes and service level agreements to meet deadlines and project cut-offs

Qualifications Overview:

• Essential: Completion of a 4-year bachelor course
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree holder in a relevant field

• Preferred: Relevant certifications in marketing, finance, etc. are an advantage

• Essential: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• Preferred: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, demonstrating progressive responsibility and performance
