JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position is responsible for leading and managing the attainment of the Annual Operating Plan of the assigned plant in terms of production volume, cost, operational efficiency, quality, and food safety; ensuring that operations are compliant with all standards and regulatory requirements such as health, safety, environment, permits and licenses and other relevant operational and financial measures.The position works closely with other departments, such as Commercial, Logistics, Finance, for the continuous and well-managed operations of the plants in the area.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Manufacturing Management - Leads and manages the execution of daily/weekly/monthly/annual manufacturing plans, programs, and initiatives necessary to ensure operational efficiencies, product availability, high machine reliability, compliance to quality control and standards, and optimal utilization of all available operating resources.
- Product Availability and Quality - Creates a culture of customer-centricity by ensuring product availability and quality through the implementation of well-managed production scheduling and operations aligned with Commercial and Logistics.
- Operational Planning and Efficiency - Implements efficient preventive Maintenance programs, efficient Production and Process systems and practices.
- Maintenance Management - Manages and controls manufacturing equipment repairs and preventive maintenance programs to ensure that the machines are properly maintained by fully utilizing the maintenance management system.
- Compliance to Regulations - Oversees compliance to relevant government regulatory requirements, such as those related to occupational health and safety, environment, and food safety.
- Cost Management - Manages Plant manufacturing expenses to ensure that cost of goods sold (COGS) and other operational expenses (i.e. repair & maintenance) are controlled within the allowable costs of productions.
- Organization and People Development - Develops talent through managing performance, coaching and mentoring, identifying and supporting learning and development needs of people, building a strong technical talent pipeline, and building a high performing team in coordination with HR.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of any Engineering course.
- At least ten years of professional experience in food, beverage, or consumer manufacturing operations, three to five years of which in managerial and leadership capacity.
- Solid exposure in the beverage manufacturing operation and project management
