HR Reporting and Analytics Senior Analyst
Skills: Tableau Dashboard Building & Metrics ReportingWork Mode: REMOTE
Shift: 10 AM – 6 PM and 2 days 1 PM – 10 PM in a week
Contract: 12 months
Job Summary:The role involves developing and maintaining dashboards, using data from databases and Tableau or One Model data models, creating semi-automated data pipelines, and building
automated reports.
Tasks include creating supplemental analysis packs or decks to simplify processes and provide stakeholders with key insights. This role requires an understanding of the data narrative and the ability to communicate these insights effectively.
Initially, your primary responsibilities will involve assisting in the transition and validation ofdata configurations and visualization setups from legacy systems to Tableau.
Responsibilities:- Front-end Development: Rapidly develop dashboards to visualize and present data
o Design visually engaging dashboards, reports, and narratives that effectively convey
complex data insights to stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Legacy systems to Tableau Data and Dashboard Transition
o Swiftly develop dashboards or tiles within Tableau to align with data requirements.
o Collaborate with Product Owners and the IT team to validate or support the creationand maintenance of data feeds during this period.
o Ensure data integrity by validating information between multiple systems to confirm
proper setup and consistency across both platforms.
o Maintain the configuration of dashboards and the setup of metrics, dimensions, andfilters in legacy systems until EOL, as well as within Tableau during BAU.
- Data – Structured: Leverage existing datasets in Google Cloud Platform and
- Data – Unstructured: Create semi-automated data pipelines to efficiently gather,
o Merge structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from multiple systems to
create meaningful KPIs / metrics, identifying trends and highlight company-wide
talent-related insights.
o Optimize and automate HR data processes by collaborating with IT to enhance datapipelines.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting
o Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage data for strategic talent initiatives.
- Quality: Assess the integrity and quality of data, conducting validation and
verification exercises to ensure accuracy and reliability.
o Collaborate with HRIS and other data teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, andconsistency across various talent analytics initiatives.
o Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance and data
management practices to ensure compliance and data security.
o Problem solve and implement solutions for unexcepted behaviours with platform
workflows and/or data as well as maintain or update these configurations as business
needs grow or change.
- Reporting: Manage both ad hoc and scheduled reporting requests and prepare
owner or stakeholders.
- Analytics: Understand data insights and highlight observations about key data points
for further team analysis.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science or relevant technical discipline
preferred.
Strong proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau Developer is preferred) 2-5 years experience
Advanced MS Excel skills incl. VBA
Intermediate SQL experience is required, or comparable language
One Model admin experience is preferred
Experience in working in a HR analytics function or working with people data is preferred.
Experience in data analysis and data visualization, preferably in the HR or talent analytics space.
Strong proficiency with creating insight reports for senior leaders.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Skilled in creating deliverables related to customer-focused reporting.
Excellent quantitative skills, including data manipulation, KPIs / metrics development and visualization.
Advanced analytics and data exploration proficiency is advantageous.
