Head Cashier

• Makes required reports daily, such as the Daily Consolidated Sales Report, redeemed Credit Memo Report, daily deposits of leasing collections, cancelled Official Receipts, cancelled Sales Invoices, invalid Credit Memos, items not found, and cleared checks to be submitted to Treasury Department.
• Prepares cash boxes, cash change, and other requirements needed by cashiers for operational functions.
• Prepares and deposits all sales, whether in cash or checks, to the bank.
• Prepares petty cash replenishment.
• Deposits POS/SAP cash, credit cards, and checks in the system.
• Files and safeguards records of sales, credit card slips, credit card settlements, bank deposit slips, and tenant invoices, which are submitted daily by cashiers.
• Balances corresponding cash change fund monthly.
• Accomplishes daily cashier checklists.
• Prepares and submits monthly the work schedule of cashiers.
• Accepts and makes incoming payments of all transactions in the branch other than those received by the cashiers.
• Facilitates and coordinates with the Treasury Manager for refunds, either in cash, checks, or bank reversals.
• Coordinates with other departments for areas of concern in the functions of the cashiering area.
• Oversees that the duties and responsibilities of the section head cashier and cashiers are being fulfilled.
• Transmits pertinent documents to the Treasury Department or to other departments as required by Head Office.
• Oversees the availability of materials needed by the cashiers, like forms, POS papers, thermal papers, and other office supplies.
• Performs other tasks assigned from time to time.

We are looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting
• Experience in cashiering or banking role is an advantage
• Knowledge of the cashiering functions, bank procedures and reconciliation, store operations, and accounting procedures.
• Knowledge of using POS systems and productivity software.
• Keen to details and maintains the required standards in cashiering procedures
• Good people management and communication skills
• Applicant’s home/location should be nearby the store and willing to report in the branch or in the HQ as per need.
