Job Summary
The Plant Engineer is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, performance, and maintenance of the water filtration plant. This includes ensuring plant efficiency, regulatory compliance, water quality standards, and team coordination to achieve consistent production targets.The ideal candidate must have 1–3 years of relevant experience in the operation of water filtration systems and must be willing to be assigned to Bogo City, Cebu.
Operations & Supervision- Lead and supervise daily operations of the water filtration plant to ensure efficient and continuous production.
- Oversee all stages of water treatment and ensure output meets required quality and safety standards.
- Supervise and provide technical direction to plant operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel.
- Monitor plant performance metrics and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for plant equipment.
- Ensure that plant operations adhere to all relevant DOH, DENR, and LGU regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and initiate improvements to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.
- Lead emergency response protocols for operational disruptions or quality deviations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for coordination with client representatives, water districts, and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams for system upgrades and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for parts, consumables, chemicals, and third-party services.
- Maintain effective communication and documentation for audits and internal reporting.
- Implement and enforce safety and environmental policies within the plant.
- Ensure water quality sampling and analysis are properly conducted and documented.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance water quality, reduce downtime, and optimize energy consumption.
- Prepare manpower schedules, plant logs, and budget estimates for consumables and maintenance.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to plant personnel.
- Participate in management meetings, audits, and plant reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Sanitary, or Environmental) or related discipline. PRC License is an advantage
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in water filtration or water treatment plant operations.
- Hands-on experience in multimedia filters, chlorination systems, softeners, or membrane filtration is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Results-oriented with a high level of integrity and accountability.
- Can work independently, under pressure, and with minimal supervision
