Warehouse Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage the daily activities of the warehouse, including receiving, picking, packing and shipping of goods
• Oversee inventory control and stocktaking processes to maintain accurate stock levels
• Coordinate with the transportation team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Manage, train and develop a team of warehouse associates to optimise productivity and performance
• Analyze warehouse data and generate reports to identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and distribution processes
• Excellent leadership and people management skills to effectively motivate and develop a team
• Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and inventory control software
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends and implement process improvements
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Forklift operator certification and knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
