The Operations Director is responsible for improving the P&L of multiple portfolios. You need to have accounts development planning, a track record of implementing FM operational excellence experience, demonstrate strong contractual knowledge and negotiation skills.

A proven track record of transitioning first generation FM outsourcing contracts to an output base contract for a nationwide portfolio is critical.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement a Key Account Development Plan (ADP) framework including methodology, reporting and stakeholder management.
  • Ensure financial, operational, and contractual performance of multiple key accounts.
  • Lead retention strategy and commercial negotiations for contract renewal.
  • Generate FM business processes and SOPs to ensure compliance.
  • Grow existing key accounts by increasing market share.
  • Identify and develop strategy to target new sectors.
  • Manage on-site operations team with P&L accountability.
  • Manage transitions of secured projects including mobilisation, recruitment of key on-site positions, training, reporting and contract management
  • Ensure contractual SLA and KPI are achieved.
  • Be the senior point of contact for conflict resolutions.
  • Develop training to ensure a high-performance culture on-site.
  • Perform other assigned tasks by his/her superior in the achievement of the department’s objectives and OCS business goals.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years account management or business development portfolio with proven track record of improving the P&L of key accounts with Facility Management (FM), Corporate Real Estate (CRE), or built environment professional services.
  • Stakeholder management experience at leadership level for MNC or large local companies
  • Strong personal network of clients, procurement, and suppliers
  • Able to lead independently FM site teams with minimum supervision.
  • Track record of improving on-site team performance including attrition
  • Experience of managing multiple project portfolio is an advantage.
  • Experience of implementing training programmes is an advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Facilities Management, Estate Management, Building or relevant related discipline from a recognised tertiary institute.
  • Account Development credentials.
  • QHSE qualification
  • FM related certifications such as FSM, Green Mark, HSE credentials, WSHO is an advantage.
