Quality Test Engineer (SQL Scripting) - Muntinlupa

Responsibility:

• To understand product requirements and develop test plans, test cases, and test data
• Execute test scripts, analyze, and record results (manual and automated testing)
• Ensure that adequate test coverage is provided
• Identify defects/anomalies and investigate their root cause. Document and track these defects.
• Assist fellow team members in resolving technical issues
• Contribute to improving the QA process and quality standards
• Recommend improvements or corrections to developers or system analysts
• Work with Developers, Product Owners, Product Analysts, and other test team members to complete testing tasks
• Ensure that high quality and accuracy are maintained throughout the software release cycle
• Provide feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out following the schedule and the quality requirements
• Determine testing tools that can be implemented to aid QA and maximize testing coverage
• Undertake other duties

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have the following skills/characteristics:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
• 1-2 years of Software Quality Testing experience (both manual and basic automation skills)
• Experience with SQL Scripting or ETL
• Logical, thorough, and task-focused, with an eye for detail, able to rapidly absorb and apply technical information
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with fellow team members and all levels of management
• Experience with Python is preferred.
