Junior Architect / Architect - Quezon City

JUNIOR ARCHITECT / ARCHITECT

The Architect shall be responsible to do the following tasks:

• Report to and directly coordinate with the Job Captain.
• Assist and lead the Junior Architects
• Execute Project Management tasks and/or lead the Junior Architects in completing project plans.
• Interpret sketches, plans and engineering drawings accurately.
• Prepare drafting works utilizing Revit or AutoCAD
• Manage multiple works with minimum supervision
• Researches, plans, designs, and documents building projects for the firm-client by performing the necessary drafting duties.
• Consult with the team to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or renovation, and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
• Render support services to a design firm that is based in the USA.
• Plan layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design.
• Prepare scale drawings and contract documents for building contractors.
• Assist in the preparation of project designs and plans using computer assisted design software and equipment.
• Collaborate with the team in carrying out activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned

General Requirements for Architect Position:

• Licensed Architect
• At least 5 years of working experience in the Architecture, Construction, Consultant or Design firms
• With actual work experience in using Revit, both in modelling and documentation
• Solid experience in Concept, Schematic, Design Development, and IFC drawing production and documentation.
• Strong analytical sense when it comes to construction drawing detailing.
• Must have previous project management or team leadership experience.
• Proficient in preparing drafting works utilizing Revit or AutoCAD
• Knowledgeable in 3D software such as SketchUp, VRay, Lumion and the likes
• Can communicate well, both in written and verbal
• Experience in Architectural and Engineering construction details, drawings and specifications is an advantage
• Can manage multiple works with minimum supervision
• Amenable to work on Philippine Holidays, if necessary.
• Amenable to work from Tuesday to Saturday with a 40-hour workweek.
• Performs duties and tasks with minimal supervision and comfortable with the set-up of working from home with a minimum of at least 50 MBPS internet connectivity.
• HIGHLY PROFICIENT in the following software/application:
• Revit
• AutoCAD
• Photoshop
• Bluebeam
• SketchUp
• MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Google Earth
• Microsoft Teams

Applicant must submit their portfolio / work sample for evaluation.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a Revit Assessment.

This position is on a PERMANENT WORK FROM HOME arrangement.
