Network Engineer

About the role
As a Network Engineer at the Alto Audio Design Center, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's complex network infrastructure. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Iloilo, Western Visayas.
What you'll be doing- Designing and configuring network topologies, protocols, and technologies to meet the company's evolving business requirements
- Implementing and testing new network equipment and software to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
- Monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks
- Administering and maintaining network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address network-related business requirements
- Providing technical support and training to end-users on network-related issues
- Documenting network designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and best practices (e.g., TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls)
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, PRTG, Nagios)
- Familiarity with cloud-based networking technologies and solutions
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
