Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description:

• Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff to meet daily targets.
• Ensure smooth coordination of day-to-day warehouse activities.
• Train and update staff on new processes, safety protocols, and products.
• Monitor staff performance and recommend improvements, training, or disciplinary actions as needed.

• Evaluate and report on warehouse productivity.
• Ensure all warehouse activities meet daily work assignments (DWA) and capacity goals.
• Monitor stock movements and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Oversee the proper receipt, checking, and dispatch of local and imported deliveries.

• Ensure accurate stock handling, storage, and rotation (FIFO system).
• Conduct random audits to verify actual stock vs. system inventory (SOH vs NAV).
• Monitor slow or non-moving items and coordinate with management for resolution.
• Supervise stock transfers between warehouses, ensuring all documents are in order.

• Enforce company policies on safety, security, uniforms, and hygiene.
• Identify process gaps through reviews and audits and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in Quality Circle meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities to minimize costs and ensure safety standards.

• Prepare and submit timely reports on inventory, productivity, and operational issues.
• Assist in investigations involving stock discrepancies, damages, or violations.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

• Participate in the hiring process for new team members by conducting interviews and providing recommendations.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• College graduate, preferably in Engineering or equivalent field.

Experience & Training:

• With relevant Logistics/Supply Chain experience.
• ISO training is a plus.
• Familiarity in handling SKUs and warehouse systems.
