Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Officer to handle financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and regulatory compliance for our property operations. In this role, you will ensure the validity and accuracy of all financial records, track operational and capital budgets (OPEX/CAPEX), and ensure full compliance with government financial requirements using our corporate iFAE system.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
Financial Reporting & Compliance- Prepare, verify, and submit accurate and timely Financial Reports.
- Conduct regular reconciliation of accounting transactions (book-to-bank and bank-to-book).
- Ensure full compliance with all government and financial regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the validity, accuracy, and timely updates of all general financial records in accordance with company policy.
- Assist the Property Manager (PM) in creating the annual Operations Plan and Budget, including tracking targets for revenue, OPEX, and CAPEX.
- Provide information to the PM regarding supplies and materials needed for operational budget preparations.
- Coordinate with the Building Engineer (BE) to ensure all financial-related documents and operational reports are submitted accurately and on time.
- Handle materials analysis, negotiation, and procurement for administrative supplies.
- Maintain clean and accurate manual and automated accounting records, including the Fixed Assets Database and other core operations systems.
- Ensure all sensitive financial documents are securely stored and protected from unauthorized access.
- Assist in property escalation protocols and support operations when management is off-site.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, bookkeeping, or tax compliance (experience in property management or real estate is a plus).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting systems/ERPs and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong expertise in bank reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
