Who We Need
In this role, you will support one of our Logistics Coordinators, who works directly with a client based in Spain. The Logistics Coordinator frequently communicates with Spanish-speaking carriers, vendors, and business counterparts, and you will serve as the communication bridge by providing real-time interpretation during meetings and calls, translating written communications, and assisting with day-to-day coordination.
This is primarily a language support role, making it an excellent opportunity for bilingual professionals with strong communication skills. Previous logistics experience is not required—you'll receive the necessary context and training to effectively support business conversations.
Location: WFH/RemoteShift sched: 2PM - 11PM (PHT)
What You'll Do:
- Join virtual meetings and phone calls to provide real-time English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English interpretation.
- Translate emails, chat messages, documents, and other business communications accurately and professionally.
- Support Expedock's Logistics Coordinator in communicating with Spanish-speaking carriers, vendors, and business counterparts on behalf of the client.
- Help facilitate clear and effective communication regarding operational updates, shipment-related discussions, and other business matters.
- Take meeting notes and summarize key discussion points and action items when needed.
- Relay information accurately while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Perform general language support and administrative tasks related to communication as assigned.
What You Need:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate professionally in a business environment.
- Strong verbal interpretation and written translation skills.
- Comfortable participating in virtual meetings and providing real-time interpretation during calls.
- Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately convey information between English and Spanish speakers.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple conversations and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable work-from-home setup.
- Familiarity with logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain terminology is an advantage but not required.
- HMO coverage and leave credits become available after three months of engagement.
