The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Sales Estimator, ISD is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electronic Security Design Estimator to join our growing international team.

This is a specialist role supporting our Australian operations, focused on the design, estimation, and proposal development of complex electronic security solutions. Working remotely from the Philippines, you will collaborate closely with our sales, and project delivery teams to develop accurate, compliant, and competitive submissions for commercial, corporate, and critical infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience designing and estimating integrated electronic security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Intercom, and related technologies. You will be responsible for interpreting client requirements, reviewing technical specifications, developing detailed system designs, preparing cost estimates, and producing professional proposals that support successful project outcomes.

• Prepare detailed quotations and proposals for electronic security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Alarm Systems.
• Develop estimates for structured cabling, network infrastructure, and related IT works.
• Review client requirements, specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
• Create accurate bill of materials, labour calculations, and project cost estimates.
• Source and obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support responses to tenders, RFQs, and customer enquiries.
• Assist with project handovers by providing clear and accurate documentation.
• Produce professional security system designs and supporting documentation using Bluebeam and other design tools.
• Interpret customer requirements and translate them into practical, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with technical and project delivery teams to ensure designs align with operational and installation requirements.
• Maintain estimating templates, pricing databases, and design standards.

• Essential Skills & Experience
• Experience in Electronic Security Design and Estimating.
• Proven expertise designing and estimating integrated security solutions including:
• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Intrusion Detection Systems
• Intercom and Communication Systems
• Security Management Platforms
• Strong understanding of Australian electronic security standards and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated experience preparing detailed cost estimates, bill of materials, scope documentation, and tender submissions.
• Advanced ability to interpret specifications, architectural drawings, electrical schematics, and consultant documentation.
• Experience conducting security system take-offs and design development using Bluebeam or similar software.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance technical compliance, risk, and profitability.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
