Job Description

Responsible for supporting the company's business direction and strategy through providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and submission of relevant financial reports.

• Prepares asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account options.
• Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and proper report.
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and querries.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
• Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

• Minimum 2-3 years of general accounting experience in a corporate environment
• BS Accountancy graduate, CPA is a plus
• Good knowledge and experience in local taxation, audit and other statutory requirements
• Working knowledge of BIR tax regulations, VAT compliance, and withholding tax requirements
• Good experience in MS office applications (Excel, Word)
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modelling
• Preferably with experience functioning using computerized Accounting Information Systems such as Quickbooks, Microsoft Dynamics
• Preferably with experience in accounts payable
• Experience with invoice processing, vendor management, and payment reconciliation
