Role Description
The Policy Management and Quality Assurance (PMQA) Associate is responsible for the processing of accounts from placement, booking to billing/transmittal. They need to ensure that all transactions are complete and compliant before proceeding to and completing each step.Upon performing their task, they need to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address should there be policy-related issues. Reporting to their respective PMQA Officer/Supervisor, the Associate contributes to upholding Unicon’s standards of excellence in the policy management and client service.
This is a full-time hybrid position suited for someone who is organized, communicative, and comfortable working with policies and insurance data.
What You’ll Be Doing:
PLACEMENT:
- Review the completeness of documents and correctness of details before submitting the placement request to respective insurers.
- Thorough verification of details vs the client’s signed proposal and insurer’s agreed terms and rate should be performed.
- All requests should be done following the standard turn-around-time (TAT), all policies requested should be submitted to us by insurers within the standard TAT.
BOOKING:
- Thorough review of the policy received from respective insurers – policy received vs the placement slip submitted.
- Ensure of the following: (i) that the assured is already KYC verified before proceeding into booking, (ii) of the correct recording of all details in the system, and (iii) that all accounts intended for the current month should be processed and booked.
- All documents received under the booking process should ensure to add/include in the client’s document file, to maintain an organized and updated record of policy files.
INVOICING / BILLING / TRANSMITTAL:
- This area is the checking and approval of the PMQA Officer/Supervisor and/or the designated PMQA Associates – thus thorough review of all the details should carefully perform before clicking the approval button.
- Ensure that the billing and transmittal is out to the correct and authorized recipient/s within the TAT for the collection team do their collection follow up on time.
- A graduate of any 4-year course but with preference in Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in insurance related field.
- Familiarity in various insurance lines.
- Proficiency in using policy management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with insurance regulations and compliance standards is preferred.
