Job Title: Senior IT Auditor (AU)

Work Setup & Schedule:

• Hybrid (7AM to 4PM)

What you’ll be doing:

• Undertake a full range of IS audit tasks, including audit planning, testing, reviewing, and reporting.
• Develop an understanding of the client approach as it relates to ITGCs.
• Plan and execute audits of ITGCs and automated controls across key financial and operational systems.
• Manage multiple audit engagements and projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes, especially during peak reporting periods.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls related to access management, change management, system development, and IT operations.
• Assess the reliability and integrity of automated controls embedded in financial applications.
• Identify control weaknesses, assess risk implications, and recommend remediation strategies.
• Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented audit workpapers and reports in line with the client Audit Approach
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, risk, and business units, to understand systems and control environments.
• Communicate complex IT-related issues in simplified terms to engagement teams and link IT control failures or deficiencies to business operations and the audit approach.
• Identify and document the connection between relevant business cycle controls and the supporting IS system(s) / ITGCs.
• Understand and evaluate SOC Type 2/ISAE 3402 reports and SLAs for third-party providers.
• Contribute to the development of IS Audit training material under the guidance of the Senior team members.

• Demonstrated experience in testing ITGCs and IT automated controls (ITACs) in complex IT environments.
• Demonstrates an understanding of how IS Auditors support financial statement audit teams
• Understanding of audit methodologies and ITGC frameworks
• Assists the engagement team is determining what audit procedures may be necessary to address IT related risks
• Graduate degree /certification in IS Auditing
• Extensive experience in IS Risk Assurance
• Knowledge of data analytics tools and ERP applications
• Broad range of client experience
