Senior Electrical Design Engineer

This role requires a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for projects, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, and project management teams, to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations, and system simulations.
• Evaluate, select, and specify electrical equipment and components.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Review contractor/subcontractor designs and provide recommendations.
• Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and client presentations.
• Identify and resolve design issues proactively to avoid project delays.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
