Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine bath analyses, including pH checks, titrations, metal concentration, and contaminant testing.
• Accurately document all test results, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Adjust plating parameters (e.g., concentrations, pH) to meet required specifications.
• Clean and maintain laboratory work areas, tanks, tools, and instrumentation.
• Ensure proper maintenance of plating baths, equipment, ventilation systems, and fume hoods for safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain accurate inventory of chemicals and ensure proper storage.
• Prepare and label chemical solutions in compliance with laboratory standards and safety protocols.
• Support R&D activities and evaluations through experimental plating trials and optimization testing.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a diploma course
• Licensed Chemical Technician (required)
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; one (1) year of related experience or relevant internship/laboratory training is an advantage
• Familiar with laboratory equipment and procedures
• Ability to multitask and work with keen attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
