Inventory Supervisor – Job Description
- Supervise daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods
- Monitor stock levels and ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances
- Maintain accurate records using inventory management systems
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
- Train, guide, and evaluate inventory staff performance
- Ensure proper storage conditions and compliance with safety standards
- Prepare inventory reports for management and assist in forecasting needs
- Optimize inventory processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse supervision
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., ERP software)
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
