  • MUST BE WILLING TO REPORT ON-SITE (MAKATI) DAILY, FROM MONDAY-FRIDAY.

General Responsibilities

The Recruitment Manager is responsible for overseeing the hiring process from head office up to its affiliate’s branches in CEBU and ILOILO. It is likewise the main responsibility of the Recruitment Manger to updates recruitment business flow and procedures, supervising the team and tracking the key performance indicators of the recruitment team.

Implement sourcing methods, advise on interviewing techniques, and build professional networks among seafarers.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Source, recruit and assess qualified seafarers.
  • Monitor qualified candidates who passed in the recruitment processes are being reflected in OCEANIS Database and to ensure that principal hiring requirements are timely handled.
  • Assists the Vice-President in developing a talent pipeline of Crossworld seafarers to ensure continuous supply of talents at any given time.
  • Monitor and ensure that implemented sourcing techniques and strategies are effective and efficient to meet principal requirements in the head office and Branches (Cebu and Iloilo).
  • Assists the Vice-President in ensuring that OCEANIS system is effectively being utilized to provide useful reports (statistical data of qualified crew candidates - daily, monthly and quarterly).
  • Assists the Vice-President and participates in job fairs and career events (CEBU and ILOILO).
  • Responsible in meeting the Recruitment Team regularly and to discuss matters that involves professional and personal concerns of the team.
  • Attends regular operations meeting.
  • Daily coordination to the operations manager – to follow-up status of endorsed applicants.
  • Assist the Vice-President in managing recruitment branch in CEBU and ILOILO.
  • Build the company’s professional network with seafarers and their family.
  • Stay up to date on DMW rules and regulation pertaining to recruitment matter and inform recruitment team about changes in regulations.
  • Responsible of monitoring to the proper implementation pertaining to quality of work in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 & 14001:2015 Standard.
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned by the President and/or President from time to time.
