About the Role:
As a CBRE Database Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of databases to support business applications. This role will involve working with various database management systems, developing database solutions, and ensuring data integrity and security.
What You’ll Do:
- Accurate Data Collection and Reporting: The role involves gathering and compiling data from key sites across our clients commercial buildings global portfolio. The role will support ensuring utility & sustainability data quality is provided to the main ESG data source ‘Resource Advisor’ system. Working towards all energy usage is accurately monitored, verified & reported.
- Utility Bill Verification: By verifying utility bills against actual meter readings and contractual agreements, the role helps prevent overcharges and identified cost savings. Working alongside CBRE procurement team
- Trend Analysis: Analyzing energy consumption and costs to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost savings. This helps in pinpointing areas where energy efficiency can be improved.
- Detailed Reporting: Preparing detailed reports on utility usage, costs, and savings for internal stakeholders, including management and sustainability teams. These reports provide insights that support informed decision-making.
- Collaboration: Joining monthly regional calls with the Schneider Resource Advisor team and DB ECO PMO to identify gaps in utility data and work towards collaboratively ensuring data quality gaps are corrected5. This collaboration ensures that all data is accurate and reliable.
- Project Management Support: Providing wider support to the energy team with project management tasks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. This contributes to the overall success of energy and utility initiatives.
- Compliance: The role will ensure that all data collected meets the new requirements set forth by the clients sustainability reporting demands.
About you:
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in energy sector or related field
- Facilities Management Background is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in data analysis and report creation
- Familiarity with SharePoint and other data management systems
- Experience with software automation processes such as Smartsheet and Power BI
- In depth knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or mySQL.
- Amenable to work on a shifting schedule, 6 days a week, weekends/ holidays
