I. Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of Continuous Improvement members in performing daily and routine Continuous Improvement activities, special programs/projects and other Continuous Improvement functions
Performs CAPACITY and MANPOWER PLANNING

Conduct time and motion study
Assists in the creation of capacity model
Analyze and create program or actions that will increase capacity and manpower utilization and/or efficiency
Define required manpower per line, per process and per machine
Create a standard work guide (SWG) for each process

Performs PROCESS/SYSTEMS IMPROVEMENT

Create an existing process flow for the plant
Define manpower, material and information flow
Assists in the definition and implementation of the efficient flow of manpower, material and information
Use of automation, ACAD, simulation model or any software to improve current flow

Leads lean manufacturing program

Knowledge in lean manufacturing tools and systems

Leads Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Cost savings activities
WIP management activities
Work environment improvement activities
Yield and quality improvement activities
Other continuous improvement programs assigned by the management

II. Job Specifications
A. Educational Background

B.S. Industrial Engineering graduate with 1-3 years of experience as Industrial Engineer or its equivalent.

B. Work Experience

With 1-3 years of experience as Industrial Engineer or its equivalent.

C. Other Skills

Knowledge in Time and Motion Study
Knowledge in ergonomics and safety requirement for space and manpower planning
Good written and oral communication skills
Excellent in excel and MS Office applications
Knowledge in MMR, OEE, TMS, Takt time and cycle time computation
Knowledge in lean concept
