EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Equipment Technicians to ensure the smooth operation of our production machinery and equipment, focusing on minimizing downtime and maintaining optimal performance. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve equipment efficiency and safety.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure all machines and equipment on the production lines operate at peak efficiency to support productivity and meet yield targets.
• Conduct timely and thorough preventive maintenance and adjustments on production machinery to comply with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with machines and equipment, performing necessary repairs and escalating to the Equipment Engineer when required.
• Perform regular inspection, cleaning and preventive maintenance to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities to ensure traceability and compliance with machine breakdown history.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance machine performance, improve preventive maintenance techniques, and mitigate safety risks.

Job Qualifications:

• A graduate of 2 or 4 years on Electro-mechanical and Technological courses
• Knowledge on electronic circuits, electrical wirings and mechanical functions
• Knowledge on pneumatics system
• Knowledge in quality control and defect analysis
• Exhibits mastery on machine troubleshooting techniques
• Able to read and work with production documentations
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills
• With basic computer (MS Office) and documentation skills

We are also accepting candidates outside Cebu who are open to relocation. This position entails full-time on-site work.
