WHAT IS A/AN IT PROCUREMENT MANAGER?
Every business runs on cloud and SaaS now — and most of them are quietly overpaying for it. That's where you come in. You're the person who reads a vendor contract and sees the savings hiding in plain sight, who walks into a renewal negotiation and walks out with a better deal than anyone expected.
If you get a kick out of finding money other people miss, keep reading.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?
You'll own the cloud, hosting and SaaS cost management agenda for Group Procurement — setting the strategy, hunting down cost reduction and avoidance opportunities, and actually delivering them. You'll lead sourcing events end to end: running the RFx process, driving evaluations, and negotiating renewals and new deals that land firmly in the company's favour.
You'll stay ahead of every contract expiry and renewal risk before it becomes a problem, keep documentation and negotiation records airtight, and make vendor onboarding, due diligence and compliance feel smooth rather than painful. As the person holding the relationships, you'll be the one vendors take seriously and stakeholders rely on.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?- Real end-to-end procurement and sourcing experience across cloud, SaaS and consumption-based commercial models
- A background in IT procurement, IT finance, or an IT commercial/business discipline (or the equivalent hard-won experience)
- A track record running RFx processes and vendor evaluations from start to finish
- A sharp understanding of IT and Professional Services vendor pricing — and how to pull it apart
- A confident hand with governance, audit and reporting
Why you'll love it
This is procurement with teeth. Your negotiations show up directly on the bottom line, your decisions shape how the whole group buys technology, and you'll have the autonomy to make a visible, measurable difference. No rubber-stamping — real ownership and real influence.
If you know your way around a vendor table and love the moment a deal tips your way, let's talk.
