Cost controller

Ensure the economic and financial control of projects, making sure that timelines, costs, and defined performance targets are met. Support the Project Manager and company management in operational decision-making and risk management, working closely with both local functions and corporate teams.

• Together with Area Controller, support project management in preparing and managing the project execution budget and subsequent forecast revisions.
• Supervise and monitor trade receivables, work in progress (WIP), and retention amounts on projects, with the objective of ensuring optimal cash flow management.
• Assist in the preparation and issuance of project guarantees, collaborating with the Project Manager, local finance team, and the central guarantees department.
• Plan and monitor project indirect costs, proposing efficiency initiatives to improve project profitability.
• Develop together with Area Controller and AFC, project cash flow forecasts in line with the approved budget/financial forecast .
• SAP management of WBS and cost centres (opening, closing and utilisation). Cost Controller is responsible for proper allocation of costs.
• Prepare detailed reports on key project KPIs, providing in-depth analysis and recommending actions to enhance performance.
• Collaborate with various company departments to ensure alignment between project cost control activities and overall corporate strategic objectives.
• Assist the Area Controller in the preparation of periodic reports such as backlog reports, project dashboards, monthly reports, and other management reporting tools.
