About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our dynamic team at OCIC Consulting Int'l. Inc. in Makati City Metro Manila. This is a contract role that will provide you with valuable experience in the field of bookkeeping and small practice accounting.
What you'll be doing- Assist the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Perform data entry, reconciliations, and other routine bookkeeping tasks
- Prepare financial reports and statements as required
- Support the team in answering client inquiries and providing excellent customer service
- Participate in the implementation of accounting systems and processes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and practices
- Currently enrolled in an Accounting or Finance-related degree program
- Must be at least a 3rd year student in your degree programme
- Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Experience with QuickBooks accounting software is required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
- Eagerness to learn and a passion for the accounting field
