IT Governance and Compliance Specialist

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join First Oceanic Property Management, Inc' as an IT Governance and Compliance Specialist. In this full-time position based in Taguig City Metro Manila, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the organisation's IT systems and processes adhere to relevant policies, regulations and industry standards.
What you'll be doing- Develop, implement and maintain IT governance frameworks and compliance programs
- Monitor and report on the organisation's IT compliance status, identifying and addressing any gaps or issues
- Provide guidance and support to IT teams on compliance requirements and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement controls that mitigate IT-related risks
- Stay up-to-date with evolving IT regulations, standards and industry trends to proactively manage compliance
- Lead and mentor more junior members of the IT governance and compliance team
What we're looking for
2 years of experience in IT governance, risk and compliance roles- Strong understanding of IT-related regulations, frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL) and compliance best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to influence and collaborate across the organisation
- Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, law, or a related field, and professional certifications (e.g. CISA, CRISC) are highly regarded
